The central emergency room has high priority at our university hospital, because we treat all acute patients as quickly as possible 24 hours a day, any day of the week with the highest level of professionalism and care.

About 40,000 patients visit us every year and the number is increasing.

The task of the emergency department is to immediately stabilize cardiovascular and respiratory problems in acute danger.

We are also responsible for treating many other diseases and injuries. Whenever the family doctor, the resident specialist or the emergency medical service can not solve the acute illnesses and injuries without the resources of a hospital alone, but these must be resolved immediately, we are there for you. Examples include dizziness, headache, abdominal pain, chest pain, shortness of breath, anxiety or other symptoms.
